Additional funding for U.S.A. Learns was made available by the California Department of Education, Office of Adult Education. The Sacramento County Office of Education retains full ownership rights for the U.S.A. Learns Web site.

Putting English to Work
Putting English to Work is an innovative video series created by the Los Angeles Unified School District, Division of Adult and Career Education, to help adults learn beginning English. Excerpts of these videos can be seen in the First English Course.

English For All
English For All was created as part of the Cyberstep Project, funded by the United States Department of Education to meet the challenge of creating and distributing multimedia learning materials for the hardest-to-serve ABE and ESL adult learners. It was developed by the Division of Adult Career Education (DACE) of the Los Angeles Unified School District, concept and design by Dr. Hugo A. Pedroza, Web Site Development by Azavar Technologies and the Sacramento County Office of Education. The English For All video series can be seen in the Second English Course.

The California Distance Learning Project
The California Distance Learning Project (CDLP) was funded by the California Department of Education's Adult Education Office to help expand learner access to adult basic education services in California through innovation, instruction, and distance learning. Although no longer funded, the project was previously managed by California State University Dominguez Hills Foundation and the Sacramento County Office of Education, the entity responsible for all Internet and information distribution activities including Web site management. News10 ABC Sacramento allowed CDLP to use its news stories, which is the basis for the Practice English and Reading materials.
