Welcome to the USA Learns website! In this video, I will answer the question “What is USA Learns?”

USA Learns is a free website to help adults learn English online. We have three English courses to teach you beginning English and intermediate English free, anytime day or night.

There are many activities to improve your English listening skills. You will listen to 1000s of English words and sentences. You will also answer questions to check your English comprehension.

There are many opportunities to practice English spelling. For some spelling activities, you see a photo, hear the word, then spell the word. If you spell the word correctly, you will see two stars (good job!). If you answer incorrectly, you can try again and learn to spell the English word correctly.

USA Learns has many activities to help you improve your English reading. Here is one example of a story. After reading a story, you will answer questions to improve your English reading skills.

There are also many activities to help you learn English grammar online. With some grammar activities you will watch a video about the parts of speech, like adjectives. After watching the video, you will answer questions so you can practice the English grammar you learned.

You can also practice English pronunciation and speaking. You can practice speaking the English vocabulary words, answer questions, and compare your voice to a native English speaker from the United States. In this example, you will practice answering Ms. Marquez’s question “Are you feeling OK?”

It is also important to be able to write well in English. USA Learns has English writing activities to help you practice the new English vocabulary and grammar that you learn.
